Message Right, firstly let me just tell you that my car was having issues with a timing issue, 35 btdc and high idel..
I did everything to try and sort it out… but refused to believe that the CAS could be responsible since it was only 3 years old…
And yes it turned out to be the CAS… a replacement one fixed the issue right away.

So never say NO…. always check and triple check… it will only be your loss if you don’t.

As fare as the oil pressure the old sender units do stop working … but a good clean of the connectors first (as with all other units) may sort it.
Corroded connectors will make the car run bad…. In the very least checking and cleaning them all will confirm its not that.

A vac/boot test unit is easy to make (or available on the net for not too much), the only thing then is an air supply..
And I can also assure you that an air leak will make the car run crap…

FSM (good copy)…
